157 TROOP RECRUIT DIARY – WEEK 5/6

157 TROOP RECRUIT DIARY – WEEK 5

The Troop were introduced to camouflage and blank firing which kept us going through the worst weather recorded on Woodbury Common.  Wet and dry seems more like wet and cold routine.  However, the Troop moral was high due to the Christmas leave coming at the end of the week.  The Troop morale was slightly increased by a surprise Christmas dinner brought to us in the field by the training team.

 157 TROOP RECRUIT DIARY – WEEK 6

The Troop was back with a bang as they were live firing on the range.  They had a hard physical exercise in the gym as an extra Christmas present which they loved.  We are now doing map reading and are still trying to find our feet.  We are now getting ready for the next exercise which is Exercise Marshall Star and are now doing first aid and lots of other lectures this week.  We are looking forward to getting in the field.
